At Rajendra University,new Vice-Chancellor has taken charge

Balangir/Odisha, Apr 10 : Professor Bibhuti Bhusan Mallick has assumed office as the new Vice-Chancellor of Rajendra University, Balangir.The former Vice-Chancellor, Professor Pradeepta Kumar Behera,handed over the responsibilities to him.
After arriving at the university campus,the new Vice-Chancellor was given a guard of honour by NCC cadets.Professor Mallick paid floral tributes to the statue of the late Rajendra Narayan Singh Deo located on the university premises.The outgoing Vice-Chancellor,Professor Behera,also offered floral tributes.
After this,the former Vice-Chancellor presented a bouquet and mementos to the new Vice-Chancellor and formally handed over the charge.
On this occasion,a grand ceremony was organized by the university to welcome the new Vice-Chancellor and to bid farewell to the outgoing one.The program was coordinated by the Chairman of the Postgraduate Council,Professor Pratap Kumar Dash.The new and outgoing Vice-Chancellors,along with Registrar Haraprasad Bhoi,were present on the stage.
The outgoing Vice-Chancellor was honoured with bouquets,mementos,a citation,and a commemorative token.
On this occasion,Controller of Examinations Dr.Shyam Bhoi,Finance Officer Chandramani Mirdha,Director of College Development Council Dr.Jitendra Kumar Pradhan,HRDC Director Professor Rajkishore Patra,Section Officer Ratna Kumar Rout,along with all faculty members,staff,and students of the university,were present at the event.
