‘I stand with the people of Bari and will continue to do so’: Manoj Mahapatra

JAJPUR/ODISHA,OCT 1  : BJP Odisha spokesperson Manoj Mahapatra has reiterated his commitment to remaining connected with the people of  Jajpur’s Bari and raising issues concerning their welfare and development. He said his association with the constituency went beyond electoral politics and was based on regular interaction with residents and an understanding of their concerns. “I have always stood with the people of Bari and will continue to do so.

Their concerns are my concerns, and I will continue to work with them and raise issues affecting their lives,” he said. Mr. Mahapatra said development of the area required sustained attention to roads, drinking water, drainage, irrigation, healthcare, education and employment, while farmers and young people needed greater support through better irrigation, market access, skill development and employment opportunities.

Mr. Mahapatra also stressed the need to strengthen grassroots engagement and said party workers should regularly interact with residents and take up their grievances with the appropriate authorities. He said women’s economic empowerment, support for self-help groups and creation of livelihood opportunities should receive greater attention.

 Political differences, he added, should not come in the way of development and welfare measures should reach eligible beneficiaries without discrimination. “Bari is not merely a place of political activity for me. I have developed a relationship with its people and will continue to remain connected with them, listen to their concerns and work for their welfare,” he said.
