World NoTobacco Day celebrated at Brahma Kumari Seva Kendra premises

Khordha, Jun 1 : “World No Tobacco Day” was celebrated at the Brahma Kumari Seva Kendra premises located at Godipokhari, Khordha .
The meeting was chaired by the seva kendra administrator Brahma Kumari Anuradha sister.The chief guest of the occasion Superintendent of Excise,Khordha, Mrs. Sumati Tripathy.In her speech she said that “Drugs gives temporary happiness for a while and ruins a person’s life”.
Brahma Kumar Jayakrushna , said that mental strength is necessary for getting rid of addiction. After this, 200 inmates of khordha Jail participated in a drug-free meeting held at khordha jail premises under the chairmanship of Jailor Rajib Kumar Das and took an oath to quit drugs for ever.
At the end on behalf of khordha Brahma Kumari Seva Kendra distributed the monthly spiritual magazine “Gyana Darpan” to all and gave them education on getting rid of addiction. Along with 25 inmates of drugs de-addiction centre”Mukti Foundation” in Palla and 15 inmates of the drugs de-addiction centre “Jeevan Asha” in Godipokhari were given education on getting rid of addiction.
