Water Kiosk inaugurated at Narayanposhi Mines

Barbil: JSW Steel’s Odisha Mining Division has inaugurated a new water kiosk at its Narayanposhi Mines, underscoring the company’s commitment to community welfare and sustainable development.
The kiosk will provide clean and safe drinking water to both local residents and mine workers, addressing a vital need during the region’s sweltering summer months.
The facility was formally inaugurated by Shri Prasanna Panda, Business Head of JSW Steel Odisha Mining Division, in the presence of company officials and employees.
Designed to serve everyone passing by daily, the kiosk will significantly reduce the effort required to fetch water from distant sources. To ensure its long-term impact, JSW Steel has outlined plans for regular maintenance and active community participation. The company also announced that similar kiosks will soon be established at other mining locations.
