President Murmu meets Sitaare cast, Aamir Khan and partner Gauri Spratt

NEW DELHI, JUN 26 : Photos from the special screening of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ held for President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan were shared on Wednesday. The film hit theatres on June 20 and has since garnered praise from viewers and critics alike.

From warm interactions with the debutant actors to being honoured by Aamir Khan’s partner Gauri Spratt, the pictures offered a heartening glimpse into a memorable evening. The screening took place on June 24.

Sharing a series of moments from the event on Instagram, the official handle of Aamir Khan Productions wrote, “The Hon’ble President of India watched Sitaare Zameen Par at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and we are deeply grateful for the warmth and generosity extended by her, her family, and her staff. Everyone involved with the film was welcomed and cared for with such genuine kindness and affection (sic).”
