IPRCL Observes 11th International Day of Yoga Across Its Offices in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 22: Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) marked the 11th International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm, organising sessions across its Bhubaneswar Project Office and Paradip and Lanjigarh Site Offices on the morning of June 21, 2025.
The Yoga sessions, held from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM, saw active participation from employees, aimed at promoting the integration of Yoga into daily life and fostering a culture of holistic health and well-being.
At the Bhubaneswar office, the session was conducted under the expert guidance of Shri Kailash Chandra Rout, an instructor from Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan. The event underscored IPRCL’s commitment to holistic wellness, aligning with the nationwide initiative to embed Yoga as a part of everyday routine.
Following the Yoga session, IPRCL organised a tree plantation drive under its signature event “Harit Yoga” near the Navadurga Temple at Raghunathpur, Bhubaneswar.
Led by Shri Mohes Kumar Behera, Group General Manager, IPRCL (formerly Additional General Manager, East Coast Railway), the initiative saw the planting of around 70 saplings, including fruit-bearing and medicinal species such as Amla, Harida, Guava, Jackfruit, Drumstick, alongside several flowering plants.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of Raghunathpur Housing Society and Somu Cottage, Somanathnagar (Phase-II), whose involvement contributed to the success of the programme. The initiative reaffirmed IPRCL’s commitment to environmental sustainability and meaningful community engagement.
