INAUGURATION OF SUMMER SPORTS CAMP-2026 & DIGITAL LED CRICKET SCORE BOARD AT CRICKET STADIUM OF ECoR SPORTS ASSOCIATION, KHURDA ROAD

Khordha, May 22 : The East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road, is organizing a “Summer Sports Camp-2026” for the children of Railway employees as well as local children at the Sports Complex, Khurda Road, with the objective of enhancing the physical, mental and moral abilities of children during the ongoing summer vacation.
Along with the inauguration of the Summer Sports Camp, a newly installed Digital LED Cricket Scoreboard at the Cricket Stadium of ECoR Sports Association, Khurda Road, was also inaugurated. Shri D. Sunil, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road, inaugurated the Summer Sports Camp and the Digital LED Cricket Scoreboard in the presence of Smt. Priyanka Jeevaraj, President, East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, Khurda Road; Shri P. K. Behra, ADRM (OP); Shri Rajdhari Yadav, ADRM (Infra); Shri Anil Kumar S., Sports Officer & Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager, Khurda Road; and other branch officers.The Summer Sports Camp will continue for 11 days from 20.05.2026 to 30.05.2026.
During the camp, children above five years of age will participate in various sporting activities such as Table Tennis, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Swimming and Yoga. Training on self-defence techniques through “Taekwon-do” martial arts will also be imparted.
More than 60 children are participating in the Summer Sports Camp. The programme is being organized under the guidance of Shri Anil Kumar S., Sports Officer & Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Khurda Road. Md.Zakiruddin, General Secretary, along with Assistant General Secretary Shri J.S.Patra and their team members are coordinating and conducting the various events and activities of the camp successfully.
