Congratulations to Bhabani Shankar Bhoi for becoming the DeputySpeaker

JAJPUR, JULY 24 : The State ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Bhabani Shankar Bhoi was elected Odisha Assembly Deputy Speaker unanimously.

 As Bhoi was the only legislator who had filed the nomination papers for the post at the office of the Assembly Secretary yesterday, he was elected as Deputy Speaker unopposed.

Speaker Surama Padhy today announced the Talsara MLA as the Deputy Speaker of the House. She hoped that he would run the House efficiently and impartially in her absence.

Meanwhile, CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Dharamasala MLA Himanshu Sekhar sahoo & Others congratulated Bhoi for being elected as Deputy speaker of the house.
