Condolences on the demise of Aurobindo Mitra

 Khordha,Mar  23: Former police commandant, Principal, police training college, elder brother of former MLA Khordha, Jyotindra Nath Mitra and the first NCC officer of India Aurobindo Mitra  passed away at the age of 79 in  Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar. His son, daughter and son-in-law were present at his deathbed. His body was brought to his birthplace on Khordha Jail Road at 12 midnight. Former Vice-Chancellor of North Odisha University Maj. Khirod Prasad Mohanty, Dev Prasad Majumdar, Bimal Sarangi, Umashankar Prasad, Laxminarayan Bhanja, Satyabrata Das, Vice-Chairman Chairman Khordha Municipal Council Sourya Ranjan Mohanty paid their last respects to him.The late Mitra was a capable police officer, students of BJB, High School and elected as the president of PN Autonomous College students’ union. His demise has cast a shadow of grief over Khordha.
