‘I Bow My Head Before Your Love,’ Says MLA Himanshu

Jajpur/Odisha, Aug 27: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with warmth and emotion at Jarka Stadium in Dharmasala block of Odisha’s Jajpur district, where hundreds of women from across the Dharmasala Assembly constituency tied rakhi on the wrist of local MLA Himanshu Shekhar Sahu.
The gathering highlighted the traditional bond of love, affection and mutual respect between brothers and sisters. Women from different parts of the constituency participated in the celebration and extended their greetings and blessings to the legislator on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Expressing his gratitude, Sahu said, “I bow my head before your immense love. This affection has bound me in a sacred and priceless relationship of brother and sister.”
He said he hoped that the bond of affection would remain everlasting and that every sister would continue to have a smile on her face.
“My only prayer is that this bond of love remains eternal and that happiness and smiles always remain on the faces of my sisters,” Sahu said, while extending his warm wishes to all brothers and sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The celebration at Jarka Stadium brought together people from different parts of the constituency and reflected the spirit of togetherness associated with the festival.
