Angul, Dec. 3 : Jindal Asha, the flagship initiative of Jindal Foundation dedicated to providing specialised care, therapy, and education for Divyang Children, observed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025 on 3rd December 2025.
Children of Jindal Asha presented an array of cultural performances, including folk and tribal dances, traditional dance sequences, a fancy dress presentation, and a social-awareness drama highlighting the importance of inclusion and empathy towards persons with disabilities. One of the key highlights of the celebration was a rally organised across the Jindal Township to create awareness on disability and promote inclusivity within the community.
As part of the government-supported facilitation process, Disability Certificates and VATA Certificates were distributed to eligible beneficiaries. Prizes from the Jindal Asha-4th Annual Sports Meet 2025 were also presented to the children during the programme.
The celebration witnessed the participation of around 80 children accompanied by their parents, contributing to a warm, inclusive, and memorable observance of the day.
