Paradip Port Authority showcases growth and innovation at India Maritime Week 2025, Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct. 31: Paradip Port Authority (PPA) actively participated in India Maritime Week 2025 held in Mumbai, showcasing its growth, innovation, and contribution to India’s maritime vision.
Hon’ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Shantanu Thakur, and Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Vijay Kumar, visited the Paradip Port Authority exhibition stall. They were received by Shri P. L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, who briefed them on the port’s achievements, ongoing development projects, and future plans aimed at enhancing capacity, efficiency, and sustainability.
During the event, Paradip Port Authority was honoured with the Maritime Excellence Achievers Award under the category “Best Exhibit Award for Future Port Concept” at India Maritime Week 2025. The award was presented by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, and Shri Shantanu Thakur, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, and was received by Shri P. L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority.
The recognition reflects Paradip Port Authority’s commitment to building a sustainable, technology-driven, and future-ready maritime ecosystem. Chairman Shri P. L. Haranadh reaffirmed PPA’s dedication to driving innovation and contributing to the nation’s maritime growth under the vision of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
