VISWAS School and College of Nursing – Orientation Program 2025–26

Bhubaneswar,Oct.26: The Viswas School and College of Nursing joyfully organized the Orientation Program for the Academic Year 2025–26 on 23rd October 2025, filled with enthusiasm and excitement. The welcome ceremony for the new students was celebrated in a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere.

The event began on a heartfelt note — senior students Chandan and Tika warmly welcomed the new students by offering sweets and a symbolic “welcome pen,” marking the beginning of their new educational journey at Viswas. The students completed their hostel accommodation process and settled comfortably into their new environment.

The highlight of the program was the Parents–Student Orientation Session, which beautifully showcased a blend of tradition and academic culture. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by dignitaries, followed by an Odissi dance performance by B.Sc. Nursing second-year students, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.

Chairperson Mrs. Satyabhama Mishra delivered a warm welcome address, while Dr. A.K. Bahinipati, Principal, Paramedical College, inspired the new students with his motivational speech. Additionally, Dr. Nandini Gharai (Secretary) and Dr. Pragyan Ranjan Gharai (Chairman) of the Viswas Institute shared their experiences and encouraging messages, motivating the newcomers to pursue excellence.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Er. Rajanish Kumar Singh, Campus Manager, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and students for their participation and support.

The entire event was a grand success, made possible through the collective efforts of Chairperson Satyabhama Mishra, the Admission Cell, faculty members, and supporting staff. The celebration ended on a joyful note with a community lunch at the Viswas canteen, symbolizing the start of a new academic journey filled with learning, friendship, and dreams.
