CMPDI RI-VII Marks 50th Coal India Foundation Day with Grand Celebration

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 29: The Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI), Regional Institute-VII (RI-VII), celebrated the 50th Coal India Foundation Day on November 27, 2024, with a grand ceremony at its Bhubaneswar Regional Office. The event highlighted the institute’s achievements and recognized the contributions of its employees in advancing the coal sector.
The occasion was graced by Jagdish Arora, Director of NALCO, and Shri Amarjit Singh, former Regional Director of CMPDI, RI-VII, as the chief guests. Sanjay Kumar Bhar, Regional Director of CMPDI, RI-VII, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the annual achievements of the institute, showcasing its commitment to excellence and innovation in the coal industry.
As part of the celebrations, awards were presented to employees for their outstanding contributions across various domains. The prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ was bestowed upon Debashis Roy, Tarun Kanti Das, Smt. Vinita Arora, Uma Kant Mohanty, Dwarika Prasad Mishra, and Manoj Kumar Sahoo in recognition of their dedicated service and exemplary contributions.
The event was meticulously planned under the direct supervision of Shri Sanjay Kumar Bhar, with Siddhartha Shankar Basu serving as the Chief Organizer. Assistant organizers Tanmoy Hari, Alekha Naik, and Pritam Biswas ensured the seamless execution of the program.
