World Blood Donor Day 2023 organised at PPA

Paradip, June,14: PPA Hospital in association with leading Social organization from the locality – Aahwan Combines organized World Blood Donor Day 2023 as part of “Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav”.

Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman,  PPA  inaugurated the programme in presence of Shri  Nilabhra  Dasgupta, Dy. Chairman, Dr.B.B.Das, CMO and other HoDs. With the theme “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often” around 81 employees and other volunteers donated blood and in turn the collected units were handed over to Odisha State Red Cross .

The importance of donating blood is not only to save the lives of thousands who are struggling for their lives, but also save the lives of numerous people who are affected by various other blood dyscrasias.
