unior state Women’s Hockey : Jagatsinghpur beats Puri  by 7-0

Paradip, Nov. 5: Jagatsinghpur  beats Puri district by 7-0 goals in their first match in the state level junior women’s hockey competition organized by Hockey Association Odisha at Kit Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar. All the players of this hockey team of Jagatsinghpur district are students of DAV school of Paradip PPL. The players are provided with hockey equipment, training and all other related facilities by PPL authorities. After the victory,

PPL Chief Manager Pranab Bhattacharya congratulated the players .

The junior women’s hockey team consists of Pashu Puleti Sarun Grace (Captain), Chinmayi Pradhan (Vice-Captain), Arpita Swain, Lipsha Samal, Suhani Rout, Dipanwita Sahu, Swamyanashi Rath, Sanchita Swain, Amrita Sethy, Smriti Saranya Das, Keerthymayi Kondakel, Savnam Parveen, Suryasnata Swain, Kalpana Barik, Sushree Manisha Mohapatra and coach Shaswat Kumar Bharatiya and Diptirekha Das are the managers.

Kirtimayi Kandakel and Sovnanam Parbin both managed to score three goals and Chinmayee Pradhan scored one goal against the Puri team.
