Berhampur, Sept. 12 : On the occasion of Tata Volunteering Week, TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organized Digital Literacy Awareness Campaigns at Kamalapur Gram Panchayat office in Rangeilunda Block, Berhampur, and Girliguda Village in Koraput. The campaigns aimed at empowering rural and semi-urban SHG women and other communities with essential digital knowledge.

In Berhampur, the session was graced by Ms. Manju Garg, who shared valuable insights on the importance of digital literacy. Supported by several volunteers, the team engaged with SHG women and ward members, spreading awareness in an interactive and impactful manner.

The session highlighted the benefits of digital technology in daily life. It stressed the use of online payment systems, safe digital practices, and access to government and banking services.

In Koraput, more than 100 SHG women participated enthusiastically. They discussed secure online transactions and learned about digital access to essential services. The interactive approach encouraged participants to ask questions and share their own experiences.

These initiatives reaffirm TPSODL’s commitment to digital inclusion, financial literacy, and sustainable community development. Through such volunteer-driven efforts, TPSODL continues to empower communities across Southern Odisha.
