Balasore, April 19: As Kalbaisakhi storms battered parts of northern Odisha on Friday, causing widespread damage and power outages, TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) emerged as a beacon of resilience, launching rapid restoration operations to minimize disruption across affected regions.
Severe thunderstorms, accompanied by heavy winds, swept through towns including Balasore, Remuna, and Nilgiri, toppling power lines and crippling electrical infrastructure. In response, TPNODL sprang into action with an emergency response that saw teams of engineers and workers mobilized immediately to affected zones.
Working through adverse conditions, TPNODL personnel labored tirelessly through the night to restore electricity in severely impacted areas.
