TPCODL Concludes Safety Month, Reinforces Commitment to a Safer Bharat

Bhubaneswar, Apr 12 : TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and Government of Odisha, concluded its month-long Safety Month Campaign on first week of April, reinforcing its commitment to workplace and community safety.
Launched on National Safety Day and Lineman Diwas, the campaign was aligned with the National Safety Council’s theme – “Safety and Well-being: Crucial for Viksit Bharat”. It featured safety pledges, interactive activities and competitions with active participation from employees and their families. Focus areas included home, road, fire and electrical safety.
A key attraction was the Safety Science Fair, where children presented innovative ideas, including a smart traffic system to aid emergency vehicles. The campaign introduced VR-based safety training modules for high-risk scenarios, completing over 2,000 man-days of safety training.
The closing ceremony included safety demonstrations, science exhibits and cultural performances by employees’ children.
