The Voice Of an Aching Heart

Devastated and scattered heart of mine

Disconsolately moved in search of humanity

Blood sheds, murder and slaughter in every corner of homes

By the brother of the brother

Teared me into pieces in anguish.

Discontented and fatigue eyes of mine

Frantically yearned for love and affection

In the institution of marriage

Infidelity, adultery and disloyalty with sindoor and mangalsutra

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

Made me cry loud in torment.

Disastrous and baffled mind of mine

Agonizingly craved for equality, religion and culture

Bombarding in temples, demolishing of musjids and assassination in gurdwaras

Left me aback, startled and surprised

Displeased and unhappy soul of mine

Excited and thrilled for the light of knowledge

But the pandemiccorona purposelyspread

By one human society to destroy another

Shattered and smashed me in agony.

Dearth of humanity will result to human less earth

Get set go and protect it with ingenuity

Before the catastrophe and havoc of war

Bring success and triumph

But no stayers and survivors.
