Seminar on ‘Comparative Literature and Translation Studies’ held at Rajendra University

Bolangir, Jan. 31: A two-day national seminar organized by the departments of Odia, English, Sanskrit, and Hindi, Rajendra University, concluded on January 28. The seminar focused on “Comparative Literature and Translation Studies.”
Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradeepta Kumar Behera, and other dignitaries, including Registrar Haraprasad Bhoi, inaugurated the event. Eminent scholars presented papers on various aspects of comparative literature and translation studies.
The valedictory function was addressed by Prof. Madhusudan Pati, former Professor of English, Sambalpur University, who delivered a keynote address. Dignitaries, including Prof. Rajkishore Patra, Director, Human Resource Development, and Prof. Pratap Kumar Das, Chairman, Postgraduate Council, were present.
Certificates were distributed to paper presenters, and Dr. Sushant Kumar Panda, Coordinator of the seminar, proposed a vote of thanks. Faculty members, researchers, and students from various universities participated in the event.
