School-Level language, literature and creativity celebrated

Khordha, Feb. 4: On the occasions of the First World Odia Language Conference 2024, a school level language, literacy and creativity festival was held at BJB, High School, Khordha under the chairmanship of school headmaster Prabhakar Sahoo.
The chief guest of the occasion editor Margadarshi Mr. Uma Shankar Prasad said, “A mother tongue flows spontaneously from child’s lips. A person cannot express the emotions of his hearts in the same ways as he does in other languages. The Speaker of the occasion, Gopal Krushna Das spoke that ” in order to improve the mother tongue students should make efforts from childhood and read the autobiography of eminent Odia writer like Madhusudan Das, Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja, Sachi Rautray and Mayadhara Mansingh to strong the mother tongue.
The students of the school —Sangram Samantaray, Sahid Hussein Khan, Biswajit Biswal, Sangram Puhan and Jagannath Moharana — delivered their speeches. The programme was co-ordinated by teacher of the school Sabita Das, Puspa Lata Patra, Nibedita Chualsingh and Mahammad Khatif.
