RRL Sangeeta Kendra Celebrated its 35th Annual day

Bhubaneswar, Jan. 30 : RRL Sangeeta Kendra, located in CSIR-IMMT campus, Bhubaneswar, has been imparting excellent training in Art, Music and Dance to the residentsof CSIR-IMMT campus andit’s nearby areas the for last 38 years. RRL Sangeeta Kendra is affiliated to the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh for certification of various levels of competency (Bhushan/ Visharad etc. ) in different art forms to it’s students through the theory and practical exams.

This year RRL Sangeeta Kendra conducted the 35th Annual Day on the occasion of Basant Panchami on 26th of January. The event was graced by the renowned Odia vocalist and composer Padma Shri Shyamamani Devi as the Guest of Honour.

The President of Sangeeta Kendra, Prof S. Basu felicitated her for her lifelong contribution to Odissi Classical music. The Sangeeta Kendra had conducted a fine art, singing, instrumental and dance competition among students of various schools across Bhubaneswar.

During this event, the Guest of Honour, Padma Shri Shyamamani Devi, distributed prizes among the winners, and also inaugurated an art exhibition. The Annual Magazine of RRL Sangeeta Kendra, SPANDAN, was released by the dignitaries on this occasion, the RRL Sangeeta Kendra students presented a beautiful Cultural Programmed and enthralled the audience.Secretary Mr. Dipti Ranjan Nayak presented the annual report of RRL Sangeeta Kendra.
