Guwahati, Mar 29 : In a strong and reassuring address to the nation through the 132nd episode of “Mann Ki Baat”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi struck a confident note, asserting that India remains resilient and fully prepared despite escalating geopolitical tensions and conflict in Central Asia.

Sending out a clear message of stability and strength, the Prime Minister emphasized that India’s proactive diplomacy and deepening global partnerships have insulated the country from external shocks. He revealed that more than 20 crude oil and gas carriers from Russia and the Middle East have already reached India safely, with several more on their way, underscoring the government’s firm grip on energy security.

Highlighting his continuous engagement with global leadership, the Prime Minister noted active coordination with heads of state from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Iran, France, Israel, and Malaysia, along with discussions with US President Donald Trump. These engagements, he indicated, reflect India’s rising stature and strategic importance on the world stage.

Reassuring 1.4 billion citizens, the Prime Minister categorically stated that India has sufficient fuel reserves and a fully alert administrative machinery capable of tackling any emergency. He issued a sharp caution against misinformation, urging citizens to remain vigilant, reject rumours, and stay united against divisive forces.

Touching on national pride, the Prime Minister lauded the Jammu & Kashmir cricket team for its historic Ranji Trophy triumph after seven decades, while also spotlighting India’s rich grassroots traditions such as Nagaland’s indigenous “Mung” education system. He further pointed to transformative changes in Manipur under the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Yojana, reinforcing the government’s commitment to inclusive development.

With summer approaching, he made a strong pitch for water conservation, calling on citizens to adopt rainwater harvesting and responsible usage as a collective national duty.

Meanwhile, BJP’s grassroots machinery across Assam mobilised in full force to tune into the programme. According to party spokesperson Pranjal Kalita, lakhs of karyakartas participated across over 25,000 booths spanning 433 mandals in all 39 districts of the state.

Adding political weight to the occasion, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, currently on an election campaign tour in Assam, joined over a thousand party workers in Dibrugarh to listen to the programme.  Organisational General Secretary B.L. Santhosh also attended a similar gathering in Palashbari in the presence of State In-charge Harish Dwivedi.

The nationwide resonance of “Mann Ki Baat” once again reflected its role as a powerful platform connecting leadership with the grassroots, reinforcing confidence, unity, and national resolve in uncertain times.
