‘People’s CM’: Fan song applauds Odisha CM Mohan Majhi’s achievements

Song showcases eight months of governance milestones

Keonjhar (Odisha), Feb 2: A grand event in Raikala witnessed the launch of a fan song, People’s CM Mohan, dedicated to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The song, crafted by renowned music director Prem Anand and rendered by celebrated singer Human Sagar, highlights the administration’s key accomplishments over the past eight months.

Unveiling the song himself, Chief Minister Majhi remarked that while political figures often inspire musical tributes, this composition stands out as it underscores impactful government policies. “Music has a unique way of connecting with people, and this song serves as a bridge to communicate our government’s initiatives,” he said.

The launch event was attended by several prominent figures, including MLAs Himanshu Shekhar Sahu (Dharmasala), Dr. Fakir Mohan Naik (Telkoi), and Akhil Chandra Naik (Patna). Also present were the Chief Minister’s wife, Dr. Priyanka Marndi, his mother, Nasmani Majhi, social activist Dinabandhu Barik, and noted film personalities Sabyasachi and Archita.

Senior BJP leader Gautam Roy, along with Inspector General (IG) Brijesh Roy, District Magistrate Vishal Singh, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Nitin Kushalkar, graced the occasion.

Penned by lyricist Subrata Swain, the song was produced under the Jug Jyoti Club banner. The initiative reflects the growing public appreciation for Majhi’s leadership and policies that have resonated across Odisha.

With its engaging blend of melody and message, People’s CM Mohan is expected to gain widespread recognition, further amplifying awareness of the state government’s accomplishments.
