OP Jindal School -Angul celebrated Annual Cultural Meet 2024

Angul,Dec.22 : On 20th and 21st December 2024, O. P. Jindal School, Angul hosted its Annual Cultural Meets at Eden Garden, JSP Township, Angul, Odisha. The two-day celebration featured ‘Samriddhi – A New Dawn’ for the Primary & Pre – Primary Wing students and ‘Punarjyoti: The Reawakening Light’ for the Middle and Senior Wing students, showcasing exceptional talent and creativity of around 1000 young students.
The Two day celebration day began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Presidents of Jindal Mahila Samiti, Smt. Seema Malhan and Smt. Anita Mittal, and Swami Satyabindu Saraswati, Yoga Guru, amidst spiritual chants.
Performances by 600 Primary Wing students, including Namaskar: Yoga, Bihu Dance, and Exotic Odisha, captivated the audience. Senior Teacher Mrs. Supriya Baral welcomed the achievers for academic excellence and dedication. The Chief Guests’ motivational speeches emphasized holistic growth.
The second day saw breathtaking performances by 400 Middle and Senior Wing students. The ceremonial lamp was lit by Chief Guest Mr. Pankaj Malhan, ED In-Charge & Chairman – SMC, Guest of Honour Mr. Damodar Mittal, ED – Projects & Vice Chairman – SMC, Mr. Dilip Kumar Sinha, President & CHRO, Mr. Hanuman Kumar Sharma, President, Finance & Accounts, Col. Rahul J. Sharma, AVP, Security and other dignitaries.
Highlights of the event included Symphonic Fusion Band, Mythological Carnival, Parivartan: Hindi Drama, Chaturangam: The Game of Dice, and Rhythmic Punjab, showcasing cultural vibrancy and youthful spirit. Senior Teacher Mrs. Lilly Mohanta’s welcoming of achievers added to the grandeur.
Both events concluded with the National Anthem and patriotic fervor. Esteemed guests lauded the school’s efforts in nurturing talent, leaving the audience inspired and proud & shared their futuristic vision for the growth and development of the school.
Principal Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sahu presented the annual report, highlighting achievements and future goals.
Mr Soumya Banerjee, Administrator and Dr Arun Kumar Dash, Vice Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude delivering eloquent Vote of Thanks.
The events were anchored by a team of brilliant young hosts whose synergy added charm to the events.
