One Month External Training to GETs of Hindalco Industries Limited

Bhubaneswar, July 9 : CSIR-IMMT kick starts a one-month external technical training program for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) of Hindalco Industries Limited on July 07, 2025.
This one moth training is scheduled from July 07-Aug 05, 2025 for Metallurgy and Chemical engineering trainees with a series of sessions (including theory/practical demonstrations and hands-on) on various aspects focusing the theme/objective of the training program. This program is being attended with 40 GETs from various working stations of Hindalco Industries Limited.
Prof Dhanush Dhari Misra, Chairman-Research Council, CSIR-CIMFR, Dhanbad has graced the inaugural as the chief guest and delivered the inaugural lecture and also conducted a knowledge intensive interaction session on “Mining, Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials” which was highly productive and made a prolific impact on the participants to orient towards the objectives of this training.
Dr Ramanuj Narayan, Director, CSIR-IMMT has addressed the gathering with energetic words and motivated the participants towards passion and profession oriented learning and training and also detailed on the various activities of CSIR-IMMT and CSIR and further stressed on the importance of regular training and the impact it adds in shaping the progress of an individual, organization and the nation at large.
The program coordinated Dr Kali Sanjay has detailed about the design and technical structural pattern of the training course and emphasized on the productive learning and application based outcomes through these kind of training where the faculties from CSIR-IMMT and external experts from Industry and Academia are invited to conduct the sessions. Dr T Pavan Kumar, Program Convener has outlined about the program modules and methodology and moderated the inaugural event.
The Director and Leadership group of CSIR-IMMT felicitated the Chief Guest Prof Dhanush Dhari Misra and greeted all the GETs for fruitful learning through this training and expressed their full support for smooth conduct of the program. The inaugural event was graced by more than 200 candidates including scientists, staff and students of IMMT along with 40 GETs of Hindalco Industries Limited.
