Odisha’s former Governor Ganeshi Lal unveils KIIT-KISS founder Achyuta Samanta’s book ‘Mo Maa Mo Prerana’

Bhubaneswar, Dec.2: Former Odisha Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal on Monday, December 1, unveiled Mo Maa Mo Prerana (My Mother, My Inspiration), the latest book authored by KIIT and KISS founder Achyuta Samanta.

“Be a flower at the feet of your mother,” Professor Lal remarked while releasing the book, adding that his understanding of motherhood deepened after coming to Odisha.

Mo Maa Mo Prerana is more than a book—it is a deeply personal reflection by Samanta. It stands as a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Neelimarani Samanta, who braved immense struggles to raise her children after the sudden death of her husband. Her resilience and values, Samanta said, continue to shape his life’s work, including his vast contributions to education and social welfare.

Among those present at the ceremony were Param Pujya Ram Narayan Das, Vishwamukti editor Prof. Shashanka Chudamani, noted writer and columnist Umapada Bose, and publisher Jivananda Misra, along with several other dignitaries.
