Dubai: Odisha Samaj UAE celebrated Utkal Divas 2024 with high spirit, enthusiasm and fervour. Also known as UTSAV, the occasion was a vibrant celebration showcasing the rich culture and traditions of Odisha.
The event, graced by the presence of Shri Vijender Singh, Consul, Consular, and Madad, as the chief guest, was a resounding success with hundreds of families in attendance at Dubai Heights Academy.
Shri Singh commended the commendable efforts of Odisha Samaj in organizing such a remarkable event, bringing together the Odia community in the UAE.
The festivities commenced with the enchanting Jagannath Vandana and idol worshipping, followed by captivating Odishi dance performances by talented Dubai-based girls. Singers Abhijit Mishra and Lopamudra Dash mesmerized the audience with a diverse repertoire, ranging from Sambalpuri to Old Odia songs and modern dances.
This cultural extravaganza, blending various flavors, received an overwhelming response.
