India’s jewel Lata Mangeshkar passes away

Bhubaneswar, Feb. 6: India’s legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is no more. She passed away on Sunday at the age of 92.

Mangeshkar breathed her last in Mumbai, after a prolonged hospitalization. The singer was put on ventilator on Saturday after her health condition deteriorated again. She was admitted to ICU 10 days ago.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan condoled the death of Lata.
