National Unity Day held at O.P. Jindal School

Angul, Nov.1: O.P. Jindal School situated at Jindal Nagar, Angul celebrated the National Unity Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “Iron Man of India.” The event aimed to promote the spirit of unity, integrity, and brotherhood among students. The program began with a special assembly in the sports complex where the Principal Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sahu addressed the students, highlighting Sardar Patel’s contribution to the unification of India.

A “Run for Unity” in the form of Inter House Cross Country race was organized to spread the message of national integration and harmony. NCC Students of the school also presented speeches the life and ideals of Sardar Patel. Col. Sudeep Maji, HoD Admin of Jindal steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and flagged off the event. Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners and runners-up.

The celebration concluded with the Unity Pledge, reaffirming our commitment to maintaining the nation’s unity and integrity. The event inspired all students to work together for the progress and harmony of our country.
