Glorious Achievement: JSW bags multiple awards environmental management

Paradip/ Bhubaneswar, Jan. 25: Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) Bhubaneswar Region felicitated JSW Steel (Mining Division) with multiple prestigious awards for excelling in environmental management.
The company’s bagged first prize in environmental management and monitoring for Nuagaon iron ore mines, received 2nd prize in Environmental management & monitoring for Jajang iron mines also 2nd in Environmental management & monitoring for Gonua iron mines and also 3rd in Waste dump management for Narayanposhi Iron & Manganese mines.
JSW Steel received the awards during 24th Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week held in Bhubaneswar.
Dignitaries including IBM Chief Controller of Mines, Nagpur Pankaj Kulshrestha, Controller of Mines (East zone) and President of Eastern Zone Mining Association RL Mohanty were present at the event.
Mines managers and their representatives from departments of Geology and Environment attended the event. Also, young mining engineers and operators (Lady operator also) were present at the program.
