Investiture Ceremony Held at O.P. Jindal School, Angul

Angul, July 28 : O.P. Jindal School, Angul, hosted its prestigious Investiture Ceremony at Eden Garden, Jindal Nagar. Mr. Dilip Kumar Sinha, President & CHRO of Jindal Steel, Angul, and Brigadier (Retd.) Dinesh Sharma, Head of Security (SFSS), attended the occasion as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively, and inspired the students with their motivational speech.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by the Principal, Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sahu. Mr. Dilip Kumar Sinha, in his address, highlighted the importance of cultivating a deep sense of responsibility, especially as a guiding force in challenging times. He emphasized that true leadership emerges when individuals uphold their duties with integrity, empathy, and unwavering commitment to collective progress. Brigadier Sharma delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing integrity as the cornerstone of strong character.

The event honoured newly appointed student leaders with badges of responsibility and recognized the outstanding performance of NCC cadets at a recent training camp. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Head Boy and Head Girl.

Vice-Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Dash, Administrator Mr. Soumya Banerjee, and the Senior Mistresses were also present on the occasion. The event was seamlessly anchored by a group of enthusiastic students.
