Bhubaneswar, May 16: Regional College of Management has hosted its Undergraduate Convocation Ceremony on 16 May 2026, conferring degrees upon the graduating students of the Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Applications batch of 2023–2026 at its Bhubaneswar campus.
At a time when higher education increasingly intersects with innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological transformation, the convocation arrived not merely as a ceremonial conclusion, but as a declaration of readiness. The graduating cohort – shaped through three years of academic rigor, industry-oriented training, and immersive campus experience – formally stepped into the next phase of professional life.
The event brought together graduating students, parents, faculty members, institutional leadership, alumni, and invited dignitaries in a ceremony that marked both achievement and institutional continuity. A defining feature of the convocation was the formal disbursement of certificates to the graduating BBA and BCA final-year students, marking the culmination of their undergraduate journey. The ceremony also recognized individual excellence through awards presented across categories including academic performance, attendance, student leadership, and all-round achievement. The programme opened with a ceremonial Faculty March, setting a dignified tone for the occasion. A particularly moving moment came at the conclusion, as graduates marked the milestone with a heartfelt cap toss, captured amid applause and shared celebration. Adding an intergenerational note to the event, an alumni address was delivered, which reflected on the academic journey and encouraged the graduating cohort as they stepped into their next chapter.
A significant highlight of the ceremony was the presence of chief guest Rakesh Pradhan, Co-Founder & CEO of Spherical-Lab Innovation Pvt. Ltd., whose participation underscores the college’s continued engagement with emerging entrepreneurial leadership and innovation ecosystems. His address focused on industry transformation, startup culture, and the evolving demands placed upon future graduates entering a technology-driven economy.
The convocation also stood as a symbolic moment for families and faculty – those who have shared in the unseen labour of academic success. For the graduating class, it represented more than a degree: it marked the formal passage from guided learning to independent contribution in business, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pritam Pal, Director of RCM Group said –
“A convocation is not the end but the beginning of responsibility. At RCM, education has meaning only when it transforms potential into action,” said Dr. Pritam Pal.
As the BBA and BCA graduating class of 2023–26 prepared to cross the convocation stage, the ceremony reaffirmed a founding institutional conviction: that education is not measured by the award of a certificate, but by the capacity to shape what comes next.
