From Odisha Dibasa to Odia New Year (Odia Pakhya), TPCODL Celebrates State’s Language, Culture & Legacy

Bhubaneswar, April 4: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) celebrated Odisha Dibasa with great enthusiasm, commemorating the rich art, culture, heritage and traditions of the state, as a tribute to the visionary leaders whose relentless efforts led to the formation of Odisha as a separate linguistic state, marking a significant chapter in its history.
The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and positivity, followed by the rendition of Bande Utkal Janani, which filled the atmosphere with pride and unity.
TPCODL is also celebrating Odia pakhya from 1-14 April to promote the Odia language, culture and rich traditions of Odisha among employees as well as the wider community.
Speaking on the occasion, TPCODL CEO Shri Arvind Singh said: “Odisha Dibasa is a proud moment for all of us, as it reminds us of the courage, vision and determination of our great leaders who made the formation of Odisha possible. At TPCODL, we are committed to carrying forward this legacy by serving the people with dedication and contributing to the state’s overall development through reliable and efficient power distribution.”
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees, reflecting their deep respect for Odisha’s glorious heritage and their continued commitment to the progress of the state. Senior officers and other employees along with CEO Arvind Singh were present at the event.
