Balasore: TPNDOL’s majestic stall at Chandipur Beach Festival sees countless footfalls

Balasore, February 9: The Silver Jubilee celebration of the Chandipur Golden Beach Festival was held with grandeur. The festival, which took place from February 6 to 9, saw the active participation of TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNDOL), which set up an exclusive stall at the event. The stall provided visitors with information and assistance regarding electrical services and also highlighted TPNDOL’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, and various excellence-driven efforts across sectors.

On the festival’s opening day, Balasore Sadar MLA Manas Kumar Dutta inaugurated the stall and inquired about the various services offered by TPNDOL. Recognizing the company’s contribution to quality service delivery, the festival committee honored TPNDOL with an award, which was presented by Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan. The award was received by TPNDOL’s Public Relations Officer Chitta Ranjan Pradhan.

TPNDOL has been taking significant strides towards ensuring qualitative electricity supply while also playing a transformative role in society. The company has implemented several groundbreaking initiatives, including education for underprivileged children, skill development programs for youth to make them self-reliant, literacy and skill training for illiterate women, and providing primary healthcare services in rural areas through mobile health units.

Training centers established by TPNDOL have enabled many young individuals to secure jobs in multinational companies. Furthermore, self-help group (SHG) women have been empowered through tailoring and beautician training programs, helping them attain financial independence.
