Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launches BJP’s Jana Ashirwad Yatra

Guwahati, March 1: The BJP’s “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” began in Assam on Saturday. Today marks the second day of the yatra. On the occasion of the “Jan Ashirwad Yatra,” Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived in Jagiroad today.
A massive wave of public enthusiasm was witnessed in Jagiroad to welcome the Chief Minister. The BJP’s “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” virtually turned into a sea of people.
In the heart of Jagiroad, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed with traditional dances and songs performed by various communities. He was also thanked for the ongoing drive against illegal infiltrators in the state, and flower petals were showered using a JCB machine as part of the welcome. Later, at Baghjap in Jagiroad, the Chief Minister was greeted with elephants.
With a gathering of nearly one lakh people and a massive bike rally, the BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra proceeded from Jagiroad towards Morigaon. On the second day, the yatra concluded at Bardhamanpur after passing through Barpujia, Raha, Nagaon, and Puranigudam from Morigaon.
