Akhi Muthi Anukula: MLA Himanshu  Leads Akshaya Tritiya Festivities at Dharmasala

Jajpur, Apr 30 : Akshaya Tritiya, believed to be one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar, is celebrated with fervour across the state. The day is marked by ceremonial sowing rituals, housewarmings, vehicle purchases, and investments in gold jewellery. It is an occasion that inspires new ventures and symbolizes prosperity and good fortune.

Farmers, in particular, celebrate this day with ‘Akhi Muthi Anukula,’ a ritualistic sowing of seeds as a prayer for a bountiful harvest. The ceremony underscores the importance of agriculture in Odisha’s cultural and economic fabric.

The day witnessed collective prayers, cultural gatherings, and hopes for growth and renewal, reinforcing Odisha’s deep-rooted connection to its traditions and agriculture.Dharmasala MLA Himanshu sekhar Sahoo  today performed the ‘Akhi Muthi Anukula’ ritual, marking the beginning of the agricultural season with great fervour at Nathuabara under Rasalpur block in Jajpur District  on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.MLA Himanshu shared his deep emotional connection with agriculture and elaborated on the state government’s dedicated initiatives for the welfare of the farming community.
