2 killed, 2 injured after explosion rocks chemical company in Gujarat’s Valsad
Gujarat ,Feb 28 : At least two people were killed and two others were injured after a huge explosion triggered fire in a petro-chemical company in Gujarat’s Valsad district on Monday night.
The blast occurred at a company located in Sarigam GIDC around 11 pm yesterday.
According to Valsad SP Vijay Singh Gurjar, “A blast occurred in the Van petro chemical company at Sarigam GIDC, followed by a massive fire. The reason of the blast is unknown. Two dead bodies have been recovered and two injured have been admitted to the hospital. The deceased have not been identified yet.”
Rescue operations were halted at night and will be carried out today, he added.
