Sai Krishna Panda of IEMS, Sector- 20 emerges joint topper of Odisha in ICSE Class-10 Board Examination

58 students score more than 90% marks

Rourkela,July 19:  Ispat English Medium School, Sector-20 (IEMS, Sector-20) and Ispat English Medium School, Sector-22 (IEMS, Sector-22) of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) have recorded 100 % pass rate in the Class X, ICSE Board examination. 

The students of IEMS, Sector-20 registered outstanding performance in the Board Examination. Sai Krishna Panda, son of Mr. Satya Narayan Panda, SOST, SMS-II jointly topped the state scoring 496 marks (99.2%). Pulak Ranjan Mallik, son of Mr. Gouranga Mallik, SOST, SMS-II and Subarnika Pradhan, daughter of Mr. Banabas Pradhan, SOST, SMS-II jointly shared the second place with 495 marks each (99%)  while Kaushik Mohanta, son of Mr. Bharat Mohanta, Executive Assistant, Personnel department bagged the 3rd  place in the school with 493 marks (98.6%).  

Out of the 140 students who appeared, a whopping 54 students have scored 90 percent or above marks while 27 students have scored between 80-89%.  129 students of the school have scored more than 60% marks.

In the IEMS, Sector-22 school, out of the 17 students of the school who appeared in the ICSE Class X examination, 4 have secured 90%  and above marks.
