TITILAGAH, JULY 8: Very recently a transfer of administrative had been implemented in IAS level in the state. In this connection Mr Somesh Upadhyay (IAS) has been deploy at Titlagarh as Sub-collector cum Magistrate and in charge of Municipality in lieu of. Sri Upadhyay joined and owed his responsibilities on July 3 Friday afternoon.
On the go, he is being welcomed by various reputed societies at Titilagarh. Although, corona pandemic is spreading rapidly throughout the country, till almost people are disobeying the safety measures of Covid-19, being aware of the danger. So, the local as well as district administration extended the 2 days of weekly shutdown on Satur day and Sunday up to 31st July.
After analyzing the pros and cons, Sri Upadhyay, visited different areas of Titilagarh and looked after the situation by self.
On Monday, the first ritual day of SRAVAN, where a large number of devotees used to go to the Shiv temple so as to pour on Shiv Ling mostly KAWADIA. In the interest of public health, on the wake of Covid-19, to prevent gathering of devotees police protection were arranged surrounding the local famous Dhabaleswar Shiv Temple situated on KUMDA hill.
Today,he visited by walk to various areas of Titilagarh along with the police team and Tahsildar and ceased 4 nos of business shop outlets found guilty on Covid-19 preventive measures. It was being announced a day earlier to strictly follow the guidelines of Covid-19 , specially for business shop outlets.
