Amiya Patnaik Productions begins journey of ‘Etiki Thilaa’

Bhubaneswar/Odisha, Aug 4 : Marking the beginning of yet another exciting cinematic venture, Amiya Patnaik Productions conducted the script puja of its upcoming Odia feature film, ‘Etiki Thilaa,’ on the auspicious occasion of Bahuda Yatra. Continuing a long-standing tradition, the ceremony was held at the revered Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Nayapalli, where the production house has sought divine blessings before the commencement of each of its films.
The sacred ceremony was attended by the entire Amiya Patnaik Productions team, who came together to seek Lord Hanuman’s blessings for a smooth and successful journey ahead.
Etiki Thilaa is a layered and emotionally complex love story that brings together a talented ensemble cast led by Barsha Patnaik, Dipanwit Dasmohapatra, and Abhishek Panda, along with several other talented actors. The film is directed by Arjun Samanta Ray of Indradhanu fame and is produced by Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik under the banner of Amiya Patnaik Productions.
The film’s music will be composed by Sandeep Panda, while Bishnu Sahoo will handle cinematography, promising a visually rich and emotionally immersive cinematic experience.
Following the blockbuster success of Mantra Muugdha, Amiya Patnaik Productions continues its remarkable momentum in Odia cinema. With Dahaan – The Evil Within scheduled to hit theatres on 11th September 2026, coinciding with Ganesh Puja, the production house is moving ahead with an ambitious slate of quality films. Etiki Thilaa further reinforces the banner’s commitment to delivering fresh, meaningful, and engaging stories to audiences.
The makers have announced that principal photography for Etiki Thilaa will commence shortly, with more announcements regarding the cast, music, and release schedule to follow in the coming months.
