Blood Donation Camp held at Rajendra University

Balangir/Odisha, Apr 16 : A blood donation camp was organized at the IDP building of Rajendra University through the joint initiative of the National Service Scheme (NSS),National Cadet Corps (NCC),and Youth Red Cross (YRC).The event was held on the occasion of Odia Pakhya Celebration–2026.

A total of 21 units of blood were collected during the camp.The Odisha Blood Center (BBMCH),Balangir,extended support for this initiative.

The program was conducted under the guidance of NSS Program Officer Diptimayee Naik,NCC Coordinator Dr. M.D. Mainul S.K.,NSS Bureau Coordinator Dr. Banshidhar Deep,and YRC Coordinator Chandrashekhar Patra.

The Honorable Vice-Chancellor,Professor Bibhuti Bhushan Mallick,attended as the Chief Guest.Other dignitaries present included Financial Controller Chandramani Mirdha,Deputy Registrar Biswajit Behera, and Head of the Computer Science Department,Dr.Debabrata Dansana.

With active participation from university staff,students,and volunteers,the program concluded successfully.
