Bhubaneswar, April 2: The Regional College of Management (RCM) is set to host its flagship inter-college B-Fest, Brahmastra 2026, from April 7 to 11, promising five days of intense competition, innovation, and cultural vibrancy on campus.

Positioned as one of Odisha’s largest management festivals, this year’s edition will feature 42 events spread across five thematic segments—Kurukshetra (sports), Chakravyuha (management games), Brahmotsav (cultural activities), Pakshala (culinary entrepreneurship), and Drona (exclusive events for corporate executives and faculty).

Students from institutions across Odisha and beyond are expected to participate in a wide range of competitions, including crisis management, mock press meets, stock trading simulations, business quizzes, startup challenges, and cultural showcases such as dance, music, and ramp walk.

A key highlight of the festival is Pakshala, a student-managed food court designed as a live entrepreneurial platform where participants will conceptualise, market, and operate food businesses during the event. Another major attraction is Hackforge 2.0, a high-intensity hackathon organised in collaboration with the Google Developer Group (GDG) Bhubaneswar, aimed at fostering innovation and real-world problem-solving.

Addressing the significance of the event, RCM Group Director Dr. Pritam Pal said that platforms like Brahmastra help shape future leaders by exposing them to real-world challenges and decision-making under pressure.

The fest will also witness participation from industry experts and academicians, providing students with valuable exposure to professional standards and expectations.

Established over four decades ago, RCM is regarded as one of Odisha’s oldest management institutions, known for its emphasis on experiential learning. Brahmastra, its annual B-Fest, reflects this philosophy by transforming the campus into a dynamic arena of learning beyond classrooms.
