Khordha District Bar association election, Lotakabindu elected as President, Lingaraj, Secretary

Khordha ,Mar 29 : The election process of new office bearers of the Bar Association for the year 2026-27 across the state has been completed as per the directions of the State Bar Council.
The election of khordha district Bar association has been concluded peacefully at judicial court building premises,khordha. Senior advocate,Lotak Bindu Pattnaik has won as the president, Lingaraj Sahu as the Secretary and Har Prasad Mohapatra as the vice-president.
Lotak Bindu Pattnaik got 151 votes, while his nearest rival Manas Ranjan Pattnaik got 121 votes. For the post of Secretary Lingaraj Sahu got 195 votes ,while his nearest rival Balaram Sahu got 77 votes. Har Prasad Mohapatra won as the vice-president with 182 votes.
Lalatendu Keshari Pradhan has been elected as the joint secretary and Basanta Kumar Bhanja has been elected as the treasurer. Bikram Keshari Chual
Singh, Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Radhakant Ray Samant, Sabitri Devi, Jamiruddin Khan and Monalisa Mishra have been elected as the executive members. The voting process began at 7 am and ended at 3 pm. Out of a total of 371 voters, 334 cast their votes.
Bijaya Chandra Mohanty was the election officer assisted by Prabhanjan Jena, Pushpanjali Udaysingh, Pradeepta Prasad Ram and Sanjaya Satpathy. Former president of khoradha district Bar association Shishir Kumar Parida,Jiban Jyoti Mishra and Prabhanjan Jena congratulated the newly elected office bearers of khordha district Bar association.
