Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre athletes bag seven medals at the All India Inter University Gymnastics Championship

Bhubaneswar, Mar 26 : The Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC) athletes delivered an exceptional performance, winning seven medals at the All-India Inter University Gymnastics (Men’s & Women’s) Championship 2025-26 held at Punjab University, Chandigarh during March 14-20, 2026. Five athletes from the HPC participated in the competition.
Accompanied by Ankita Baidya, Women Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) – Assistant Coach and Simon Peter Moore, Men Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) – Foreign Expert from the HPC contingent, Senior WAG athletes Adita Mondal and JM Ritika Das and Senior MAG athletesArpan Laskar and Ajad Laskar represented the Punjab University, Chandigarh while SeniorMAG athlete Jagdish Barik represented the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
In the Senior Men’s category, Ajad Laskar delivered an outstanding all-around performance, securing gold in the All-Around event. Ajad, along with Arpan, contributed to Punjab University’s success, helping the team clinch the gold medal in the Team Championship. Meanwhile, Jagadish Barik played a pivotal role in guiding the Guru Nanak Dev University team to a silver medal finish in the Team event.
In the Senior Women’s category, Adita dominated the competition, winning the gold medal in the All-Around and a bronze medal on Beam, while Ritika secured the silver medal on Beam. Both Adita and Ritika contributed to Punjab University’s success, helping the team clinch the gold medal in the Team Championship.
