You Are My Opposite Ocean

You are my opposite ocean—
salt to my thirst,
shore to my storm,
stillness stitched into my surge.
Whenever I drown in thought,
you become my breathing.
When I burn with being,
you become my monsoon.
We are two contradictions
conspiring to become one canonical doctrine.
