Jindal Steel Celebrates Lord Vishwakarma Puja with Devotion

Angul, Sept.17 : Jindal Steel celebrated the auspicious occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Puja at its Angul Plant with great devotion and active participation from employees, their families, and the local community.
The rituals were led by Angul Location Head Mr. Pankaj Malhan with his wife Mrs. Seema Malhan, Executive Director Mr. Damodar Mittal with his wife Mrs. Anita Mittal, Swami Satyabindu Saraswati, Mr. Atul Dubey, and other departmental heads. The Vedic puja was performed at the Plate Mill area, where prayers were offered to Lord Vishwakarma—the Divine Architect—seeking His blessings for the prosperity, safety, and well-being of everyone associated with Jindal Steel and for the nation as a whole.
On this occasion, the Human Resources Department conferred the Jindal Vishwakarma Samman on 29 employees for their skill, dedication, and safe work practices. Among them, 11 persons received the Vishwakarma Ratna (All-Rounder Award), 9 persons were recognized as Safety Champions, and 9 persons were honoured with the Discipline Award.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Malhan said, “With the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma, we are able to achieve great things in engineering. Our hard work becomes meaningful only with His grace. On this special day, I send my best wishes to all our employees and encourage everyone to keep giving their best for their families, society, and the nation. I also congratulate all the winners of the Jindal Vishwakarma Samman. Your talent and dedication make us proud and inspire others in the Jindal Steel family.”
Adding to this, Mr. Damodar Mittal said, “I humbly pray to Lord Vishwakarma to protect and guide us, giving us the strength and safety needed to achieve our goals with Zero Harm. May this auspicious day bring joy, peace, and prosperity to everyone connected with our Angul Plant.”
In addition to the main celebration at the Plate Mill, special pujas were also performed at the Jagannath Temple in Dev Bhoomi, Jindal Nagar, the Naveen Jindal Skill Centre for Advanced Welding Technology, and several other locations. Residents of Jindal Nagar and members of the workforce participated in large numbers, making the celebration truly memorable.
