HIVANA AND MAMTA DORI JOIN HANDS TO LAUNCH A NEW SHOWROOM WITH A COLLECTION OF SILVER JEWELLRY AND HANDLOOM SAREES

Bhubaneswar, Sep5 : Hivana, a leading silver jewellery brand, and Mamta Dori, a new-age handloom label, came together today to unveil their latest collaborative showroom at Plot No 390, Patia, Opposite KOEL Campus, Bhubaneswar, with a collection of stunning silver jewellery and exquisite handloom sarees.

The event, held at Bhubaneswar, was graced by distinguished guests including Shri P.K. Gupta, Director, MSME Development Institute, Govt. of India; Shri Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, OAS(SB), Director of Export Promotion and Marketing, Odisha; Shri Satwik Swain, General Secretary, OASME; Shri Gourishankar Dash, Chairman, OASME; Smt. Jyotirmayee Mohanty, Chairwoman, OASME; and Shri Kamal Kanta Sahoo, Head – Odisha Chapter AD (FIEO). Popular Odia TV actress Ipshita Sahu also joined the celebration.

As a part of this collaboration, Mamta Dori felicitated handloom saree workers for their contribution to preserving Odisha’s rich weaving heritage. This gesture recognized the artisans whose dedication and craftsmanship continue to keep traditional handloom alive in the modern fashion space.

Speaking on the occasion, Mamta Das, Founder of Mamta Dori, said, “This initiative is not just about fashion; it is about celebrating the tireless efforts of our weavers. Through this collaboration, we aim to empower artisans, give them visibility, and bring Odisha’s handloom tradition closer to the younger generation.”
