Koraput District gets silver medal at state-level Sampurnata Abhiyan felicitation ceremony in Bhubaneswar

Rayagada/ Bhubaneswar, Aug. 3: The state-level “Sampurnata Abhiyan” felicitation ceremony was conducted at the Odisha State Convention Center, Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi. Collectors of Aspirational Districts, Group Development Officers of Aspirational Blocks, and senior officials from district-level departments across the state were present at the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Koraput District was honoured with a Silver Medal for achieving 100 per cent completion in five key indicators under the Sampurnata Abhiyan. These were quarterly registration of pregnant women, diabetes screening, hypertension monitoring, distribution of soil health cards, book distribution in schools, and electrification of secondary schools.
The Collector of Koraput, Shri Manoj Satyavan Mahajan, received the prestigious Silver Medal from the Hon’ble Chief Minister in recognition of the district’s remarkable performance. In addition, Group Development Officers from Laxmipur and Lamtaput blocks were also awarded Silver Medals for their outstanding contributions under the Aspirational Block Programme.
The ceremony marked a significant acknowledgment of Koraput’s coordinated efforts and commitment to holistic development, setting a strong example for other districts to follow in the pursuit of inclusive governance and grassroot impact.
